Huawei's decision to end its mobile operating system reliance on Android

Beijing: According to Huawei founder Ren Zhenfai, the company will introduce its operating system, Hong Meng, which is 60 percent faster than Android and not exclusive to mobile phones only.

The operating system developed by Huawei Company can also be used on Internet routers, information storage centers and automated driving vehicles.
Huawei has to make its own App Store, which is in the final stages of production, before it can be used regularly, Ren Xin-Fi said.

The Chinese company, which manufactures technology products, said that Huawei's operating system will need some time to market, as Android and iOS are already available in the market and have good developer support.
The Chinese company's new operating system will be introduced in China early this year and will be rolled out to consumers worldwide in 2020.
It is understood that this year, Google banned the use of some of Android's applications on Huawei's new designs.  The Trump administration added Huawei to the list of companies that US firms would not be able to do business with without a license, but now news of US sanctions easing.
