Detected mosquito-borne virus

A mosquito-borne virus has been discovered that causes dangerous swelling in the victim's brain.
The virus was discovered in the US state of Florida, killing 30% of the affected victims, while survivors suffer from several types of mental illness. According to a Florida Department of Health statement, the virus spreads through a mosquito and so far seven people have been infected. Within four to 10 days after the mosquito bite, the effects of this deadly virus begin to infect humans, the department says. Initially, the patient has a headache, followed by high fever, tremor, and vomiting. Warm weather in the United States has also increased the number of mosquitoes, with officials warning people to improve drainage and cover the body near their homes.
